CharacterEd FILMclips HELP

If you are unable to access FilmClips, or are unable to fully control the dashboard and menus, please review the following information.

Unable to Connect
To open CharacterEd FilmClips, you must be connected to the district network within a district building, or connected through VPN from a non-district network.

Who Can Access?
CharacterEd FilmClips is accessible by instructional staff only, and is not available to students at this time.

Opening CharacterEd FilmClips
Upon clicking the application url while connected to the district network, the following dialog box will appear. To run the FilmClips application, select Open. To create a FilmClips shortcut (icon) on your desktop or other location, choose Save.

Entire Dashboard Not Viewable
On some smaller displays such as laptops, the entire dashboard is not viewable and will not allow access to all screen controls and menu items. To view the entire dashboard, click the View menu at the top of the Flash Player window and choose Show All.

 

The dashboard will be resized to fit the window or display, allowing access to all menu buttons, tabs and scrollbars.
